What Lies Beyond (PLAYDATE MOVIES)

What Lies Beyond  is an original anthology series where Hallmark meets Twilight Zone!  In "What Lies Beyond '' you'll follow four stories with sudden twists towards a slew of seemingly average joes turned "star of the show". Written by David R. Wrenn, "What Lies Beyond" offers an artist approach to the phrase "First Impressions, can be misleading!" This kid friendly anthology series takes inspiration from anthology genres in the vein of "The Outer Limits" and "Twilight Zone", while maintaining a Positive/Christian undertone. This production has been Rated G for all general audiences.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Episode 1 - Listen: Follows the story of an aged man, who has blazed through life by never taking the time to stop. When faced with the opportunity to relive his day, will he make the choice to simmer down for once and simply "Listen"?

Episode 2 - The Avarice Snare: When an elderly couple finds a mystical lamp on their doorstep, they find that all their wishes could come true, if only they make the right wish! Starring  Joan Schuermeyer who played Cynthia Knickerbocker in 2009's  Zombieland!

Episode 3 - The Long Harvest: When a celebrity superstar finds himself frozen and examined by Aliens for what they only refer to as "The Long Harvest" he begins a spiral into self destruction as he aims to reveal the existence of extraterrestrial life, once and for all!

Episode 4 - A Fitting Finale: In the final episode, two childhood movie stars awaken 20 years later in a seemingly normal house, that they can't escape! Held captive by a harmless yet mysterious man, the two must work together to fulfil the mysterious man's desire to conclude a tv series who's end, he feels, he was robbed of over two decades ago!

There are two ways to enjoy PLAYDATE MOVIES:

    2. PC Simulator: PC Simulator is recommended as you can house more of your favorite Playdate Movies! Simply locate your Playdate SDK folder(Usually found under Documents) and follow this path: documents> PlaydateSDK> Disk> Games> User> Playorama.pdx> Assets Copy the contents into the Assets folders and enjoy your new Playdate Movie! Get the simulator here: https://play.date/dev/

     3. PLAYDATE for on the go: Plug your playdate into your computer: Follow the path Settings> System> Data Disk. Open the playdate folder on your computer and then you can find the playorama folder under USER. Enter the playorama.pdx folder and copy and paste the files into the Asset folder. After the files have transferred safely, you can then safely eject your playdate from your computer. Now you can Enjoy your Playdate Movies on the go!
